Basket Weaving-Create A Holiday Wall Basket, Kirkland Crossings
Thursdays, Nov. 1,8,15,29. 9:15-11:15 a.m. 4 weeks.Limited to 8 participants.
Instructor Sally Turner will lead class into creating this decorative wall basket, which is also lovely as a table centerpiece. Students will weave the flat base and slightly flared walls using natural and dyed reed. The basket opening slopes into a v shape in the front, includes a leather handle in the back and a seasonal embellishment on the front. A strip of curled ash wood surrounds the mid section.
